• We envision a weekly dynamic Sunday Morning Worship Service that involves  3,000 people magnifying God’s name, believers being challenged in practical living  and is a powerful witness to the unchurched.

• We envision a membership who has committed themselves to Jesus Christ as their Savior and to this church family by protecting the unity, sharing in the responsibility and supporting the testimony of The Open Door Church family.

• We envision a membership who have committed themselves to spiritual maturity   by having a daily quiet time, by giving a weekly tithe and by participating in weekly Bible study.

• We envision 600 prayer partners who regularly pray for our church leaders, members and ministries.

• We envision 300 members who have committed themselves to be equipped  to effectively share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and become dynamic soul winners.

• We envision a network of Sunday school classes within the church providing a ministry to the unsaved, discipleship and encouragement to our members as they seek to grow in Christ-likeness.

• We envision a  mission’s budget of $700,000 annually that financially supports long-term and short-term missionaries around the world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

• We envision a membership that is trained and inspired to launch out a monthly missionary team around the world and the United States to present the gospel and encourage missionaries.

• We envision a Missions Retreat Center that ministers to missionaries and Pastors around the world.  Through this center we will provide lodging, guidance and encouragement for God’s servants at no cost.

• We envision the Cumberland Valley Christian School providing the best education, spiritual foundation, biblical perspective, servant hearts and character development for our students to be prepared to accomplish the  purpose God has for each student.

• We envision a television/radio/internet ministry that broadcasts to the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated and the confused helping them to find hope worth having in Christ.

• We envision a Bible Institute for our community, offering a balanced program of Bible studies, classes, seminars and annual conferences for building Biblical knowledge, skills and character. We anticipate the Bible Institute launching many men and women into fulltime ministries around the world.

• The goal of this vision is to bring glory to God by presenting Jesus Christ with as many Christ-disciples as we possibly can before He returns.
